Guidance from the Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
The true foundation of human rights lies in the Farewell Sermon of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, where principles of equality, justice, and human dignity were clearly articulated. He ﷺ said:
“An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have superiority over an Arab. A white person has no superiority over a black person, nor does a black person have superiority over a white person, except by piety and good deeds.” These timeless teachings remain the essence of global human rights principles even today.
